Past privatizations

First among the first
Perhaps the most defining privatization in Mr. Atzarakis’ career is that of the “Greek Textile Company S.A”, the property of which, the former LANARA – KYRTSI industrial complex used to be part of. The aforementioned industrial complex occupied an area 31.510 square meters wide and its’ privatization/acquisition was done on behalf of 40 separate business owners.
It was the first privatization to take place after the voting of Law No. 2000/1991, and it took 4 years of extremely hard work to complete, due to massive legal obstacles and the sophistication it required to divide such a big area to 40 different owners.
